Good News! Grillers
Good News! Grillers is an outreach effort where we travel around the community and give away hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, bottles of water and (of course) the GOOD NEWS. Many Christian and secular organizations have reached out to use and asked us to attend their public events and we hardly ever turn anyone down. Come alongside and serve with us.

Manatee County Fair – PalmettoSTATION
During the annual Manatee County Fair in January, PalmettoBUILD has a food concession called Palmetto Filling Station. Our volunteers serve breakfast (for the fair workers), lunch and dinner – with all proceeds going toward paying the gate for a free night at the fair. We offer pulled pork, chili, hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, cold drinks, and PRAYER. We would love to have you volunteer for one or more shifts during fair season – especially if you are a prayer warrior.
Manatee County Fair – Visitor Engagement
During the annual Manatee County Fair in January, PalmettoBUILD works with fair organizers and other organizations to provide helpers for visitors to find a parking spot and to help at the gates welcoming each visitor. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with the fairgoers as they come onto the fairgrounds. We need people to manage the parking lots and people to take tickets as the visitors come through the gates.
